Zofran Question
Sorry I have been MIA, work has been a nightmare!
I have a question for those of you who have been on Zofran. I'm going on a road trip this weekend and I get car sick. Dr is prescribing me Zofran because I can't take the Drammamine. I rarely take medications, if I have a cold I can only take childrens strength because most is too strong for me.
Has anyone had any adverse reaction to the Zofran? I'm a little nervous taking a pill for the 1st time and getting in a car for 5 hours.

I am not answering your question directly but I too get terrible motion sickness. I am the dramamine queen when not preggo or nursing! I have been on a few road trips ranging from 5 to 14 hours since i have been pregnant and I have found that the sea bands really help. Also, when I drive I feel fine. It is only when I am a passanger that it gets really bad. Good luck!

I took Zofran for a while during my 1st trimester and I didn't have any side effects. After a couple of weeks, I did get a little constipated but nothing crazy. You should be fine!
PS--I also get car sick...so annoying! Good luck.

I still take Zofran from time to time. The only side effect I ever got was constipation.
You should be fine. Have fun on your roadtrip.

I did! I got horrible constipation and migraines! I stopped that stuff after 5 days!!

I only had a bit of constipation from it. And it didn't prevent me from getting car sick. It helped once I started to feel sick though..
