yesterday was the
best day of my life. After 8 agonizing days I finally got to hold and kiss my little angel. Sophia is doing so good. She is so comfy now that she can lay on her tummy. She is still vented but we are hoping to try and extubate her again in the next day or two. Her numbers look excellant. The Bili lights are coming off today. The PDA that she had is now fixed they were able to close the valve by medication we are praying that it remains closed. They are going to start feeding her via NG tube (tube down her nose) and hopefully she will be able to gain some weight. But I cannot be happier with her progress...she seems to have a new knick name now...THE TERROR she is hysterical she gives the nurses so much trouble when they do anything to her...ah I my love little love bug!!!!! Yay!!!! I've been waiting for an update on Sophia! I'm SOOO happy she's getting stronger and stronger! You must be so incredibly happy to finally be able to hold her in your arms. I'm so excited for you.

i have been anxiously awaiting ur next post and here it is w/ great news. I am so happy for u , it must have been amazing holding her and touching her all over!!!! i pray for sophie every day that she keeps geting stronger and healthier w/ every minute of the day!!
