Well..DH managed to break the vaccuum yesterday!! Need recommendations for a new one!!
This is the second time my husband has used the vaccuum and well he broke it the first time and now managed to totally break it this time. Note to self..keep him away from future vaccuums.
Anyway..I need some recommendations for vaccuums. What do ya have ladies and is it nice and powerful?? I need something that will be good with pet hair.

Any reviews of the hoover windtunnel bagless??

Any reviews of the hoover windtunnel bagless??
we have this and likes it, it's also not as loud. But I am itching for a Dyson for all the pet hair we have in this house!

It's a trick Jamie!!! He did it so he'll never have to vacuum again!!!  And did you check that it wasn't just the belt? i've thought I've broken it so many times and meanwhile, all we needed was a $2 rubber belt!

Last time he broke it it was the belt, this time is smelled awful and was smoking, so I think its toasted. He vaccuums life a freakin mad man, goes super fast and burns the damn thing out. If it was a trick it was a good one, he'll never use my vaccuum again. Never toy with a womans vaccuum.

Best vacuum I ever had in my life was an Electrolux. I vacuum every day because I have three dogs (and have had for years). This vacuum lasted me 10 years before the motor burned out. However, the upright model I had now costs about $800. 
I've used Bissell and Hoover and they work OK. I now have a Dirt Devil and this works really well, but I can't wait to get an Electrolux again.

I have the Hoover Windtunnel and hate it!! The belt breaks about once a month or every other month---but my Dh does the vacuming and is also a madman. Last time he used it the house smelt like burnt rubber for about 2 days! Also, I have a very hairy dog and it doesn't work great on pet hair. When I have some extra $ I am getting an electrolux-both my Mom and MIL swear by them and I didn't listen.

Thanks, the burning smell and breaking belt is what we just went through with the old vaccuum.
Anyone ever had a Kenmore upright vac?? I really want the Kenmore cannister vac, my mom had one for over 20 years, it was great, but they are a bit pricey and I am on a tight budget this month but need one asap.

I have the Hoover Windtunnel cannister - it is awesome! It is so powerful the thing would take off on you if you let it go. My DH loves it - he vacuums!!!

We have a Hoover bagless selfpropelled windtunnel and I'm very happy with it. The attachments are great too.
