I mean this in THE NICEST way I can say this, but I have dedicated my life to helping the disabled, schooling, working 50+ hours a week to help and advocate, sacrificing higher paying jobs, spending my own money- thousands each year to buy stuff when families can't afford it and I'm providing therapy or when the state has continually made budget cuts and we can't buy what we need... but thinknjack long and and hard, have you ever used the R-word? Because if you have, it's HIGHLY offensive and you are no better than him. So before spreading even more hate than what we are faced with this morning, everyone needs to reflect on their own past actions before enilating him.
Nope I do not use the R word or any part of it (I.e Libt*ard as I've been so affectionately called throughout this election season). I believe in spreading the word to end the word.

I am extremely happy that he won, I am sure you all know that.
What I can’t get over is the Facebook rants from Hillary supporters.
The profanity towards us, the hate- something that “they” supposedly don’t practice.
Just pure hypocrisy. True colors are coming out. People truly lack class when they react this way.
Not a good thing to teach your children- being a sore loser.
BTW, I took 8 years of Obama. I wasn’t happy. But in the beginning of his presidency, I tried to be optimistic.
Try that. You may be surprised. Hell, I may be even surprised. Who knows what will happen. I am just hoping for the best.

Americans have become so stupid. How can one not see he has been blowing smoke up your ass this whole election? He is a narcissist and that's what narcissists do. He wants power and control and when you get bored controlling companies in New York, ghetto Vegas (Atlantic City) what's next on a narcissists list? See if they can rule the whole country and become president! You think this was real to him? This was a game...and it proved how stupid and gullible Americans are. The same Americans who idolize reality stars (you just voted one in to dictate your children's futures).

Racism is not OK. Trump has given people a voice to say it's OK. It's not name calling. It's called being a human and respecting your fellow humans.

What is he going to do to make things "better"? I still can't get an answer from anyone! Unemployment was at 7.9% when Obama took over. Right now it's at about 4.9%. Median household income went from 55,300 to 56,500. Private Job growth had a similar rise under Obama... so what is so bad??? I'm genuinely curious. I understand Obama care needs help, but what about the part that removed women as a "pre existing condition?!", or the part that took off the lifetime limit? I was literally watching our lifetime limit decrease everytime we went to the dr. That's so messed up! Then Obama care passed and that disappeared off my statements! It's not all bad!! What is wrong with everyone. There is so much hate and I'm really upset over it. I truly thought we were better.
The unemployment figures are not actually accurate. Once you have been unemployed for a certain amount of time, they no longer consider you unemployed. Very strange but true. So no way to know how many people are actually unemployed.

Let's be very clear about something. The electoral college has spoken and that is very different than "the people". Hillary won the popular vote, albeit by a very small margin, but she won it.
I just hope that "Make America Great Again" doesn't turn into "Make America HATE Again". Trump now has 4 years to prove lots of people (including myself) wrong. I truly hope he does.
Last I saw the popular vote was still in Trump's favor by less than 1%. Don't know if that has changed.

Too many people don't believe women deserve the right to control their own bodies, to live with their own conscience, to answer to their own God. Many of them are here on this thread, and most will argue that I'm wrong or that I don't know them so I couldn't possibly know what they believe. But I do know that this is the image they portray, and the message they send.
I am so sad today. I'm sad for my children, but I am teaching them about holding your head up, respecting people's differences, accepting our president and praying he does right by the American people. I've explained to them that this country is better than every other country in the world because we change our leaders without violence and discord - and that wasn't done before the United States existed. That Hillary Clinton has shown grace and class in conceding the race last night.
Sure, you want to kick her when she's down for not speaking last night, but honestly, that says more about YOU than her. Maybe she had to cry herself to sleep. Her life ambition has just come to an end... even though she won the popular vote. She didn't contest the election, like our next president threatened to. She conceded gracefully. Hate her all you want, I bet she'll go away now. And I hope to God that Trump doesn't set us back 50 years and sell us out to Russia. Only time will tell.

The fact that you had to hide it speaks volumes. You don't hide supporting a candidate if you are proud of the person they are and believe in the values they espouse. It's a shame when both HRC and Obama just gave great remarks and said they hope for his success and willing to work with him and then to read all this stuff here. It's an election and someone wins and someone loses. Respect and unity is key right now to move forward. Find common ground, do something nice for someone and let's keep going. We will be ok.
