wow, I guess all hand sanitizers are gone
I just went to stop&shop,Walgreens and CVS and they are all out of hand sanitizers 
 I can't believe this

You're better off washing your hands anyway... Or get the sanitary wipes if you can't be near soap / water for long periods of time.

I just like to always have a bottle of hand sanitizer in DD's diaper bag, it's not really just bc of the swine flu or any other flu. I do also carry the wipes, but not the antibacterial ones(I don't think it's good to use them) I guess I'm going to go without "purell" for a while,lol.

Wow, I am glad I have my two large bottles in my house that i had prior to this.
Also...must say, I am glad to see people TAKING precautions and using this stuff!

You don't need to use the antibacterial wipes -- just use baby wipes or other hand wipes. They should work almost as well as hand sanitizer in the meantime.

Me too. I thought they were bad for you b/c of all the alcohol in them. I know you are not supposed to use them on kids. And I definetely won't use them now that I'm pregnant. I think soap and water is good enough.

I was not really looking just for purell, any brand is fine, they didn;t have any.

antibacterial soaps won't work anyway.... only the one with alcohols might do something.
fankly, washing your hands should work quite well on its own... I'm debating putting some ethanol in my car for wiping shopping cart handles

Oh God I hope that just bc people carry wipes or sanitizers, it doesn't mean that they don't wash hands lol, that would be pretty scary Oh and I don't really use it much at all. I barely do, as I sad I just wanted to have a bottle in the diaper bag. The reason I posted was just to express my surprise that non of the stores had any.
But oh well....

target had yesterday. Dh wanted to buy, I dont like them.. they actually strip away your barrier from the germs. Better to just wash your hand with soap water.. the friction of rubbing is what kils the germs.. the alcohol in those things are bad.
