Some of you need to go take a tour of the BIg internet and see how most of the other message boards are run...you post on the wrong board...its moved...go against the rules,,,,you are warned...do it again...you are banned. end of story....

It's not the FM's I was annoyed with... It was that my w---- was edited within minutes of my post... I saw numerous w---- sightings this week with not a red mark on em.
As the day went on, I'm pretty sure it's trigger happy reporters.

Are free forums unusual?
To be honest, the ONLY forums I've ever been on before coming to LIF were the Knot and LIW (for a short time). Both were free... I just sort of thought this was the norm... But then again, I'm not much into online chatting... This is really the only site I go on.

hey, i think the site is GREAT... and I understand the reasoning for censoring naughty words etc etc... advertisers, family oriented... I get it.
I have issue with WHAT they consider offensive, but I understand where the issue is coming from...
trust me, Ive been on sites that are brutal... I'm glad this one isn't that extreme. I was just confused as to why MY w posting was removed within minutes and this one laid spread eagle on the boards all day in a subject line.
I'm beginning to understand now. You didn't SEE yesterday's post...

actually i've seen 1000000x worse on the knot---there are no active moderators on the boards there--so sometimes posts can get QUITE out of hand.

reallly? i mean sometimes things get **** but for the most part if you spaced out curses on there---it stayed and things would get UGLY on Advice From Brides, Planning & Etiquette, and especially Not Engaged Yet
and things wouldn't get pulled on there---it was a rare thing when i was on there.
