Would you take a week vacation with your friends without DH and DC?
Well, I am and I cannot freakin wait! I am going to St. John for a week with a bunch of girlfriends and some gay guy friends in April. ILs and my parents are splitting the time watching DD during the day. I know I am going to miss DD, but I really need this time to just relax and have fun.

No I wouldn't.
My vacation time is pretty limited (3 weeks a year). Between school vacation & the time they get sick, it gets used up. Plus I wouldn't spare a full week unless it was with DH or DH & the kids.
But who cares what I'd do...Woo hoo! You're going on vacation!!

Girl you know you and I are alike and I cant wait to go on a vaca with the girls. I am going to either VEgas or Puerto Rico hopefully in June/July with my sis, cousin, and couple of girlfriends. Cant waiiiiiiiiiit!

Same here, I would do it if I had unlimited vacation time or if I was a SAHM who could find back up care for my child.
Since neither of these are the case, I wouldn't be able to because I need to save my time for sick days for DD, day care closures and family vacation.
It was a nice dream while it lasted!

If I had someone to watch DS I would sure as heck be going! I always go away with the girls, but it's usually only for a weekend. DH also goes away on a olf trip with the guys. He usually gets to go a day or two longer because he goes in the summer when I'm off.

yep! going to vegas for 5 days next month w/ mom and sister, then vaca w/ DH for 5r days in June or July

I did it - I went to Puerto Rico for 5 days with the girls when my kids were 1, 2, 3 and 6. My DH was kind enough to take off from work!!

I am going to Florida in July to visit my friend whom I have known since we were babies... sans DH and kids.
There is nothing wrong with it.
DH is also planning a weekend trip to AC with his work buddies in May... I told him to have a great time!
