Would you ever get permanent makeup?
I work with someone who has this. Her eyeliner is actually tattooed on!!
Personally, I wouldn't do this because what if I want to change my look one day... or wear some different colors?
On the plus side, it always looks perfect and takes her literally NO time! 
What do you think? (for any kind of perm. makeup, not just eyeliner)
ETA: I can't imagine letting someone come near my eyelids like that with needles!

I am fair and fill in my eyebrows for some color, and have thought about it briefly, but I couldn't do it.
I have tattoos myself - but something about permanent make up would freak me out.
You know how trends change? Like, eyeliner in the 60s was super heavy like Twiggy. Then very cat-eye like Cher in the 70's. Then there was a time in the 90s when everyone was "fresh faced" and wasn't into it...and then liquid eye liner was big again, etc.
Maybe if I were a competitive swimmer and was in the water all the time, MAYBE I would consider it more.
I've also seen it on older people and it looks weird sometimes.

Ummm...NO!
I have noticed my face has changed over the years and the make up will not look the same at 50 as it would at 25. Plus, like mentioned, I like to change my colors and style daily.
And although I have a tattoo, I can't even think about doing lasik, let alone a tattoo near my eyes!

I wouldn't because I really don't mind doing my own makeup & I don't like the idea of needles on my eyelids either  I also like having the option of changing lipstick color for example.

No. Make up style change not only with events/outfits but with fashion. I don't wear make up and liners the same way I did in the 80's and 90's.
I can see tattooing eyebrows as fillers though.

NO WAY! I love makeup and playing with different colors/styles. My spanish teacher in Jr. high school had it and I always thought it was too harsh on her.

I don't think I would but I have quite a few friends and family (including my mother) who have had it done. It really is great. My mom had been putting on eyeliner for about 20 years when she got it done so that "fashion trend" wasn't going anywhere. She loves it.

Nope. My MIL have permanent eyeliner and it look good but I dont know for how long KWIM. The face change so much with age and weight changes.

One of my teachers in HS had the eyeliner done... it looked great.
I never leave home w/o eyeliner on, so if it was painfree and was done for free, i would prob do it!

my MIL had her eyeliner tatooed years ago. She's 61 now. She never changes her look so its good for her. and she always complains b/c of her vision that its soo hard for her to put on makeup up close..so this was a good fix for her.
dont think its something i would do though.

I would get eyeliner, because I always wear it. However it's the old lady thoughts in my head that prevents me from ever doing it
Edited to add, I personally don't think the amount and overall look of eyeliner I wear now will be the same when in 70.

I am not interested in ever getting a tattoo on my body, yet I feel that I would consider the tattooed eyeliner. I would do a brownish color and just enough that it would look from a distance like my lashes are a bit thicker. I can't wear mascara at all due to allergies. Why would age make tattooed eyeliner look bad? My only fear is that the color would turn green like some of the older tattoos.
ETA: Re: my remark about tattoos above, I just don't think that they are "me" but I do admire well done artwork, including body artwork.
