Would you consider it rude if...
...someone were to FM you asking you questions and wanting info about certain things. So you FM them back all they wanted to know...then they dont say thank you or acknowledge the fact that you went out of your way to help and FM them all the info?
Just wondering.

Anytime someone answers back an FM to questions I have asked, I ALWAYS send a reply.. it's just good manners

i agree... but also, have you given the benefit of not having been at the computer when you fm'ed?
just saying that sometimes my thanks are delayed because i'm not online at the time the fm came in.

YES!!! I did this twice in one week, and not even a thank you...nothing. I wrote out tons of info that these people requested and nothing....pizzed me off, I don't even check my FM anymore....

I truly hope I am not one of the offenders...sometimes, I forget to answer someone. I keep reading FM's and then try to go back and see if I missed anything.

Really really really rude.
I received an FM from someone about the business I am in, and getting started doing the same thing I do. I replied with a long FM.
Its been more than a month since then. And they have definitely been on since then.

Probably not.
Maybe if I went to extraordinary lengths for someone, I'd expect some kind of thank you FM, but not for answering questions.
Half the time, I can't remember who I've helped anyway. When I do get an FM thanking me, it takes me awhile to remember what is it that I did.

yea very similar thing with me. i went and looked up all this info and never even got a thank you. i mean, i dont lose sleep over it or anything but i just realized i never even got a thank you. 
no biggie, just wasnt sure if it was me or if this has happened to other people.

Very rude. Same if you answer someone's question and you know they had to see it since they started new threads on that same page. And they never say thanks or even write on the thread again.

I try my best to get back to everyone and thank people but sometimes I just don't have the time and then I forget about it.

ITA with this. I always reply and I expect a reply back in the reverse situation!
ETA - it doesn't have to be immediate. But within 2 days after, especially if you see the person posting like crazy afterwards, a reply should be given. I know sometimes it takes me a while but I always reply with a thank you.
