No Way! I only had a few friends remember. The only ones I expect to remember my anniversary is DH, and our parents. That is it!!

I would not be upset at all... I don't remember anyone else anniversary and I don't feel anyone should remember ours.. All that matters is that DH remembers.

I try to make a point of remembering anniversaries of those friends who we were IN their wedding parties. And even then, I'll send a card on their first, fifth and tenth anniversaries. Other than that, I'll mention in casual conversation when I happen to speak to them "Oh, happy anni BTW"..

You're not an idiot - just very thoughtful. Try to remember, too, for some people anniversaries just aren't a big deal at all. I don't expect anyone to remember mine, but I will admit, I'm very pleasantly suprised, and touched, when my parents, and a good friend, sends a card and a gift.
