Would you be upset???
All but ONE friend of ours (she knows who she is   ) forgot our first anniversary. I don't understand...we have the internet, free e-cards, cell phones and nobody could remember?

I don't think I would be upset per say. It's your anniversary, your special day. Not theirs.
The only reason my friends acknowledged ours was because we had a block party on the 4th of July which was our 1 year anniversary!

I don't remember any friend's anniversaries... I'm lucky if I remember mine.... 
ILs are on July 4th, so I remember theirs....
Honestly, after the wedding, anniversaries aren't that important to other people, I don't think. You're married, so that's what they focus on. We don't celebrate any of our sib's anniversaries (Well, my brother got married this year on my anniversary, so we MIGHT remember his next year...  )

i wouldn't be too upset... anniversaries are a special day for you and DH, not really your friends. i expect our parents to acknowledge it, but not so much our friends.... especially since we have a big group and theres been a lot of weddings recently, and a lot coming up, so its tough to remember each one...

Honestly, no I would not be upset. As long as my DH remembered, that is all that matters.
I honestly don't expect family or even friends to remember my anniversary.

I wouldn't be mad. We don't really acknowledge friends anniversary's unless with happen to talk to them that day.

I wouldn't be upset. As long as my DH remembers when it is I'm happy! It's very nice of you to send cards to your friends though.

No. Not all of our friends/family acknowledged our first anniversary. I don't really care but that's just me. It's more of an important day for DH and me.

I agree with this. Maybe I'd be a little upset if my mom forgot, but that's about it.
