Agreed. At work we have a jar of wipes in every desk. First thing we do in the morning.

Not at all.... I am constantly wiping down my own things when I'm sick before others use them! Can you imagine how I am when others are sick....

I absolutely would not have been offended. I think its rediculous that someone WOULD be offended that youre taking precautions against getting sick. People can be silly sometimes.

I would not be offended. Who wants to be sick? If I was ill and using someone else's equipment, I personally would wipe it down after. If I am miserable, why would I want to pass it around?

My mom is not talking to because I did that. She was coming down with a week ago and I was asking her to wipe things off and stuff and she said "I wash my hands!" lo and behold, now I'm sick too, but I've been doing Zicam, Airborne and Sinus rinses all week to prevent getting full blown sick. Now she's coughing all over the place and she was using my laptop and I had to get on to help her, so I wiped it off, since i'm going to great lengths to not get sick because I am prone so severe sinus infections and even pneumonia if it gets bad. So now she's so offended and angry about what I think it's a pretty normal thing.
I don't think its "normal" to do that, but I don't think I would be offended in the workplace, but I think if it was at home, with my mother, I would be a bit "okay, whatever"
