Scary!!!! I hate spiders and when I lived in NY I thought they were the worst of all bugs but then I moved to Florida. Unreal the bugs that are down here.

This one isn't that big. It's only about 2 inches long. But they keep growing and they are so muscular that they freak me fully out when they grow up. I swear they will pick my son up and walk away with him.

ETA: My brother (who has his own bug laboratory) just confirmed it is a baby wolf spider. I have always called them wolf spiders. This one is only about 2 inches long. The adults are bigger and much more muscular. They are freaky.

We had two full adults come out 2 years ago and I thought DH and I would have a heart attack. We sucked them up, but they stayed in the vacuum tube. Once we took the tubes apart to put the vacuum away, they just plopped out and crawled away. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon The first one actually entailed one of my most infamous Kelly stories on LIF. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Only thing I have found to kill them is the spider spray. Copious amounts of spider spray. And it takes hours for them to die. This reminds me is that I need to stock up again.

No. Well, I don't think they bite humans. They don't make webs, just stalk and pounce their prey. That's why they are so muscular.

How do you NOT have them? We are on the woods. We even have them at work, which isn't that far away from here.
