I agree with all of this except the last line.
I really would not say it was the pet "lovers" who fueled the debates regarding pets in stores. But the rest of your post ITA. 
I personally am glad to see any discussion of pets in stores, pro or con, gone.

Sure, I got sucked in too at the end when it was just too much to ignore!! So I am glad it is gone.

I have heard cr*p from a lot of people - both to my face and behind my back. So I am kind of immune when people make such ignorant comments. the comment didn't bother me either but she didn't just state her opinion... she was using it as an attack *towards* me.
Okay - I had no idea of the context. If it was said as an attack against a person than she obviously does not have the ability to be part of a community forum.

I actually liked the dog threads. I did not know people actually brought their dog to stores. Then we talked about the legality of it, etc... I learned things.
I personally don't like the AI threads. I just bypass them. That's it! I don't call them stupid or beneath me.
Maybe you could post about other topics too that you find interesting?

Just want to set this record straight...she was not banned. She asked for her account to be deleted.
Also Don yes I see your point. The pet posts were a little crazy. Moving forward any posts pertaining to pets/animals/store issues with animals, pet owners, articles about animals, etc are being moved to pets.

I have to say though NFR has been a little ridic lately...the animosity on both sides of the neverending dog debate are a little much so I scan but stick to Parenting (and stalk the TTC and PG boards with my baby fever)

Well, certainly what you said wasn't nice. You brought up how her DH wanted to leave her within their first year of marriage. I remember her saying that it wasn't he who thought about leaving but her.
I understand the point you were trying to make but I'm just saying two wrongs don't make a right. There's certainly no need to stoop to the level she sought out. She looked like an ignorant idiot saying that about single moms and for sure it dug her an even deeper grave. But, like I said before, we've all been there and said things out of anger.
As for the nasty FMs? Well that was just plain stupid and she shouldn't have done that.
Please know, I'm NOT by a LONG SHOT condoning what she said or did and yes, I fully believe Kimmie dug her own grave by being belligerent and down right narrow minded but I think everyone deserves a second chance.
Sometimes we don't know the whole story...
