Why is it so hard to get someone to renovate our bathroom
So we have gone through two recommendations here on LIF. One didn't show, then canceled then didn't show, the second showed but pretty much has been MIA since. We thought we were on our way, even ordered the vainity, fixtures, even the granite when we got our neighbors brother to come in and give us prices. He even followed up with us and we said we will definetely use him, just waiting for our home equity to go through. We'll I have called him the past three days and nothing.
I am willing to pay, how come no one wants the work. Ugg, I wish DH wasn handy I would do it ourelves.

You would think with the economy so bad people would jump with the work  We had an issues recently with workers as well.

Dont even get me started!!!!!
We can NEVER get anyone here to do any work at all...
Thankfully my DH is very handy and can do all the work himself...
I say the same thing as the previous poster.."the economy cant be as bad as they say b/c no one wants to work"

I never called them because at the time I had someone. They are now back on my lists to call.
