Everything goes in the basement. The ornaments are in a storage box and the tree is in a bag. However sometimes I wish I was rich enough to just toss the tree with the ornaments out and just buy something new every year.

I hate putting away the decorations.

Everything is in the attic. We have everything in those big plastic bins.

Bins in the crawl space, my tree, I have a tree storage bag. I got at bed bath and beyond for like $15 last year Everything goes in the crawl space. I have a bin for each season and holiday and have them lined up and labeled so it’s easy to find

My attic, don't have a basement.

The tree goes into 3 under-the-bed plastic storage bins - makes it easier for me to haul it up the ladder. The top in an old Fortunoff plastic bag so it doesn't get squished.
Ornaments, lights, other decorations are in 66 quart plastic storage bins, again, easier for me to haul up the ladder and to keep the dust out.

(66 quart because I can stack 3 under the eaves )

ETA : my dream for my retirement home in SC is to have a closet in the garage where I can just put the assembled tree with lights in it, wheel it in on a dolly.
DH is not a tool guy, I am, so garage will be my "She Shed" of sorts.

In my tiny attic. The tree is in its original cardboard box, ornaments in a plastic corrugated ornament box, and everything else in one plastic bin.

We have big bins from Home Depot with decorations in the basement. Our outdoor decorations are generally in their original boxes in the garage.

Our tree itself goes in our shed. We used to have a HUGE canvas bag for it, but that ripped over the years so DH got a HUGE rubbermaid type tote for it- it's made for trees.
The ornaments and decorations go in our attic which is really just a crawl space.
We have no basement

Everything goes in storage bins and into the basement. Our tree comes apart into 3 pieces so we put that in storage bins too.

In my last house, everything went into the attic in plastic tubs (but don't have a fake tree, so just all the decorations). It was such a pain to drag everything down the attic steps. Now I store everything in basement (in plastic tubs). So much easier than the attic

we have a closet that goes behind our stairs we store the tree in there and the rest of the decorations go in bins in the attic

Bins in the basement. All labeled what’s inside. We keep everything in basement on racks because of occasional water down there. The tree is separated Into 3 large garbage bags (we have a huge tree - not my idea) and that takes up an entire shelf.

Everything is in the basement. We lug the tree downstairs and then put it into the stand. We used to store it in a tree bag but it was a huge PITA!!!
