Shoes that are worn everyday are by the front door... All others are in our bedroom closets. I actually keep saying I want to get a shoe rack so I can get them into the closet by the front door instead of them just being out.

We are a no shoe house. We keep shoes in the front entry coat closet on shoe racks and off season shoes in plastic shoe storage boxes.
DH and I generally keep a pair of easy on type shoes by the garage for running in and out the house.

We take them off by the door, and they either go in the coat closet or get put in our clothes closet. We don't really wear them around the house, only if we already had them on and forgot to get something

have some in the front closet..others i got a bookshelf type thing and put some baskets in it for DD and I and our more commonly used shoes go in there. i love it! right by the front door and easy to grab.

I have some by the front door & some in the closet, I also have the "shoe under bed" thing but I hardly use it.

We keep most shoes in our closets, but the few pairs that we are currently wearing a lot are kept in a basket next to the front door.
