Im a city girl, so we club and bar hopped all over the city. cant remember any of the names

I did meet my hubby at what was then called Lynx. Also went to Limelight, Webster Hall, The country club?, a few bars on the upper east side.

then we had the queens places, Gantrys, omg cant remember the others.. we went to one every week and I cant remember the name, down the block from Gantrys, someone give me a flashback!

thats all thats coming to mind... cant remember names for nothing, was always too loopy to care about where I was

I was never a club person when I was a teen or 21. I have been clubbin and bar hopping more recently. All of our friends are single so we go clubbing with them. It's alot of fun. We figure that we might as well get it out while we are still young and before we have a family

In Manhattan, UES, I can't even remember the names but all up and down 2nd ave!!!

The city: Ski Bar, Crobar & Webster Hall

LI: Paddy McGees, Bridgeview, That club that was Bermuda Triangle back in the day, The Dublin Pub, The Crazy Donkey, 56 Fighters Club, Posh, Cyberia, and some of the Hofstra bars.

I've never been out to the Hamptons...

We used to go to Chelsea Street and the Big Easy in the early-mid 90's for work happy hour.

And even though I've been to the Hamptons every summer of my life (my grandmother lives there), I've never been to the Boardy Barn (but my grandmother has!! ) and went to Summer's once and another place that one of my dad's asst coaches bounced at but I can't remember the name.

I don't think I've ever been to a huge bar or club on Long Island. In the city I used to go to Don Hills, Coney Island High, Spy Bar, Pravda.

AAAH the good old days!

Metro 700 (before I was 21), Mulcahy's, 56th Fighter Group, Sprats, what was the huge place in Plainview??? Umm... damn! Oh, The Vanderbuilt... Big Easy Roadhouse on Hempstead tpke (not sure if was even called that, it's not there anymore) and Chelsea Street and then some local bars here and there.

Coco's was occassional as were those clubs out in Island Park and Long Beach.

Ahhh, the memories!

Didn't go out much on Long Island -- Voodoo/Caffeine (whatever it was called at the time) and, er, Gunther's in downtown Northport once in a while.

NYC (all East Village): Ace Bar, 2A, 7B/Horseshoe (total meat market), 10th Street Lounge (RIP), Wally's (now Niagara, I think), Sophie's, Radio Bar...

Was Gantry's a St John's bar?

Talk about aging myself, Danceteria and Palladium (city girl too) but it was in HS.

I lived in Albany for 3 years, for a year around the corner from The Lampost (btu never went!) and WT's and in another apt across the street from QE2.


Spent a hell of a lot of time at The Franklin Cafe (which last I recall is called Wellington's now???). Someone mentioned Copperwaites which I think we hung out at sometimes ... and Pot Belly Pub???

I was a city girl... Mainly went to EXIT - which is actually the place I met my husband Go figure! I remember those days , I kind of miss them though. I remember getting dressed at 10pm, not even leaving my house before 11pm. Now? Geez. 9pm comes & Im falling asleep. Crazy. Those sure were the days. I was fearless.
