We have a reclining sofa with Chaise from Jennifers...very comfortable, relatively affordable, def. not cheap.
Only issue is, they do not guarantee their mechanisms, only will come and clean the fabric.
We also have a couch/loveseat from Bob's and although it looks pretty, we hate it...the quality is horrible. we never sit in the living room upstairs (only if we have company) and the fabric is already wearing off. very frustrating.

Wow I can't believe no one else's DH does this--how did I get so lucky  
My also very big DH plops on the furniture and drops his legs on the ottoman - I swear I feel the room shake when he does that.
We bout our set from The Place in Carle Place.
I wouldn't recommend them. Since I'm on the second floor of a co-op, I brought diagrams and measurements so that we could be sure that any furniture we bout could make the turn into the doorway AND up the stairs.
Salesman yessed us to death, lo and behold, the couch could not even make it into the front door !
We could not cancel the shipment, and had to call in someone to take apart our brand new leather couch, carry it upstairs and re-assemble it. The did a great job, but I would never do it again.
Oh, and the store in Carle Place is no longer there. Not a good thing.
