When you are home during the day
Do you leave your front door open?
Or do you keep it closed?
To answer for myself, I leave it open
I feel too closed up if it is shut

if the a/c is on - it's closed. otherwise it's open. if hubby had his way - it would be closed 24/7, and that drives me nuts!

It depends on two things....... the weather and what I'm wearing.....bra less and short shorts is a door closed type of day.....wouldn't want to scare my new neighbors

we don't have a screen or storm door on the front so its always closed.
However my 2 sliders & back door are open ALL day when I'm home. I'd rather look out the back than the front anyway.

I don't have a front door. But I do leave windows open if it is a nice day. I love the fresh air and I love to air out the apartment or else it will have a musty smell.
ETA: I don't have a front screen door.

If I'm in the living room w/ the boys, it's open. Otherwise, I keep it closed. I'm too paranoid to leave it open if I'm in another room (even with the storm door locked).

Closed & locked.
I had something scary happen once where I heard someone come in my house at about 1am & thought it was DH coming home from band practice.
I yelled out "How was practice?" & he left the house. After about 10 minutes, I went to look outside & didn't see his car. What I did see was 6 cop cars down the block. When I called DH's cell phone asking if he was just home, he said no.
