same here!! and then he'll say "why do you speak to me that way, I would never speak to you that way." He's good with a guilt trip, so I try not to argue with him too much.

now, we're very careful NOT to around the girls...Sofia repeats EVERYTHING!!

Us too. It's just what flies out. Infact, I think he knows I'm REALLY upset when I'm so mad, I can't even curse!

No, very rare, we both have to be pushed and we really dont push eachothers buttons.
I hate cursing, DH curses at work all the time and used to bring it in the house in just general conversation, well I will NOT put up with that. In our home it is our sanctuary and I want to keep it peaceful a place to always run to, not some negative cursing battle ground.

I have a potty mouth and DH followed me on this. We both used to curse when we fought, just not to each other (calling each other azzhole, etc...)
But after witnessing Dh's best friend and his wife fight and curse each other out (it got VERY nasty), I realized how cruel it is, and got very offended when he cursed while we were fighting (like we normally do), so now we are both careful and watch it.

If it's a serious argument, no we are verrry careful not to curse, because it just inflames our tempers and makes things worse. If it's just a little bickering over nothing that we both know is no big deal sometimes we'll use "colorful" language and then it just usually makes us laugh.

NO, NEVER.
We both think it's very disrespectful. We;ve never really even raised our voices to each other.
I come from a family who's spouses are constanlty fight ing and cursing and I didn't want to be that way.

I agree. We have never cursed at each other. He would not tolerate me cursing at him, nor would I, and I think if I cursed at him I would feel completely horrible b/c I know how much it would upset him.
