When you argue with someone

Are you usually the bigger person and suggest that you bury the hatchet?

Re: When you argue with someone

im half and half on that. sometimes im the bigger person bc i know the other people will never do it. Other times if i feel strongly enough about it i dont back down until the person apologizes. i can be subborn at times

Yeah, in their headChat Icon (j/k)...

Honestly...no. I'm very stubborn and see things in black and white (very little shades of grey). It takes awhile for me to back down from my position or from my anger. Although I have to admit, I've been getting better at this and have tried to become receptive to truces. If I have wronged someone without justification, I have been trying to make amends.

Re: When you argue with someone

i *think * i usually bury the hatchet. it depends on the argument, but i feel like most of them fall ito 1 of 2 categories:
1. the argument's not worth it
or
2. the person isn't worth it.

usually, if i care enough about the person, i let go of the argument. If i care enough about the argument, i let go of the person. Chat Icon

Re: When you argue with someone

I can bury the hatchet easily after some time has passed.

Except if someone lies to me.

Completely agree Neenie. Once they lie, they just aren't worth it anymore!

Re: When you argue with someone

When I am at fault, yes.

edited to say, I dont like being in fights so I guess I do if the other person started it, but I wont take the blame, just bury the hatchet and move on. but if I am at fault I do say it and apologize.
