When to worry about teething in a toddler?

James is almost 20 months and still doesn't have the majority of his teeth. He has the 4 on top, 2 and a half on the bottom (I say half because it erupted about a month and a half ago and hasn't really grown Chat Icon ), and 4 molars. There are ZERO signs of any other teeth coming in.

Shouldn't he have some more by now? Chat Icon Should I discuss this with the ped? Chat Icon

Thanks Kristen! Chat Icon I nearly passed out the last time I saw all of JJ's teeth. Chat Icon

I'm also concerned that it might impact his speech. He speaks really well, but will he continue to do so when his teeth all come in? Will his tongue fall differently when he says words? Chat Icon

DS is 18 months old and has 6.5 teeth...He has been working on his 1 year molars for almost 5 months. They will not come through his gum....Pedi says he is fine... I just hate to see him suffer for so long with them...
