I was 10 weeks, we had just gone for a second sono and wanted to announce it before Christmas. So we spent the weekend telling our siblings and grandparents (we told our parents right away), and that Monday I posted that this was our last Christmas as a couple because next Christmas we would be a family of three.

With DS we announced at 9w after 2nd sono.
With this pregnancy we waited till after the NT scan at 12w and then announced on FB.

12 weeks.
That's when I felt comfortable about announcing it on FB. My fear of mc subsided after my 12week sono.

With both pregnancies, as soon as we saw the heartbeat (around 6.5 wks both times), we told our families. After that, friends, then work, then announced on FB. All of that happened within a week or so. So I was around 7.5/8 wks both times.

I joined FB when I was 25+ weeks pregnant with DD, so I think my first profile picture was one with a huge baby bump. I guess that was an announcement. (That was 3+ years ago)
This time (I'm only 5 weeks now), I think I'd wait until close to 20. I've had two m/c at 8.5 weeks so I want to be absolutely sure. Maybe I'll post when we know the sex.

I waited until I got all the results from my CVS back, which was around 14 weeks or so.

I'm 38 weeks and haven't announced it yet. There is a clearly preggo picture of me on FB, but it seems nobody noticed. I'll post a pic of the baby when he arrives.

I don't know when to come out! I just shared the news with immediate family this week and some friends today but I'm scared to do the big FB announcement. I'm about 14 weeks. I think it's because I had a previous loss it's making me paranoid.
