When, if at all, did you announce on FB

I am only 10.5 weeks now, and at this point, we haven't even told our families yet! We are waiting for a couple of reasons... And then once everyone we need to tell knows from us in person, then I might announce on FB. I really want to avoid anyone saying to me "I found out on FB that your pregnant??"

Once my immediate families know then I will let FB world know. Im only going on 5 weeks now and havent told anyone except my parents. I think I will announce it on FB around 12 weeks

Our families knew immediately. We had had 2 MC prior and knew we would need their support. By 10 weeks my body had changed A LOT (twins). At 11.5 weeks I knew I would be seeing a lot of our friends at a work event, so we decided to come out of FB just before that, so we could be in control of the situation.

I wanted to wait until 13-14 wks, but DH called me on the way home from work one day (@12wks) and told me he just announced it on FB (and posted the sono) and I should go do the same. I was like  !!! He was just so excited, it was cute, I couldn't be mad.

after my 12 week appointment. I could have held out longer, but we had a wedding the next day and i didn't feel like hiding it anymore

Im waiting till 20 weeks which I know is late. Most of our friends and family already know. I just want to make sure everything is ok. I plan on posting the pampers commercial that everyone loves and saying out miracle is due at the end of January.

i am 20 weeks and i posted it this week. i waited until i knew we were having a boy, and until after i could tell my employer in person. i have a major sense of relief now that everyone knows!!

I did not actually make an announcement on FB. The people that I wanted to tell, knew. Then one day it was mentioned on FB by someone and it snowballed from there. But I was like 24 wks when that happpened.
But I am different, because I do not plan to post baby pics or details on FB either, I am just a private person.

I don't plan on doing it all. I'm sure once family knowsthen someone will mention something on there. So far the ones that know where told not to post anything on FB.
