When did you stop Sterlizing Bottles?
I am still sterilizing at a year!!! I didnt know until today that you dont have to do it that long!!

With DD#1, after a week or so. With DD#2, after the first time we used them!

I just did it the first time I used them and since then I just wash them with like scolding hot water.

is it horrible that i didnt sterilize? i just soaked them in HOT water (like scalding) and then washed them?

i only sterilized after i opened the package. after that they went into my dishwasher.

I'm still sterilizing and DS is almost 8 months old.
I don't know if I really HAVE to still do it, but I do not trust the water where I live, so I would rather be safe.

I sterilized the bottles religiously until 3 months. I would have kept going but we switched to Dr. Brown's and I didn't think I could put those in my Avent electric sterilizer. Since then (he's almost 9 months) I've washed his bottles in the hottest water that will come out of our faucet, so hot that I need to wear gloves and even then, sometimes I burn my hands.

I was told only to boil the first time. Once you touch the bottle it's really not sterile anyway.
Top rack dishwasher. Every night

In the beginning I used to do it at least once a week...after a few months probably 2x a month..totally stopped after 9 months if I recall correctly.

With both of my DC I sterlized their bottles up to the time they stopped using them. With DS he was 13 months old and with DD she was 11 months old.

my ped told me after the 1st time out of the container it is not necessary..just warm soapy water or dishwasher!

DS is 2 months old and my ped said to sterilize until he's 3 months....so thats what I'm doing 
I cant wait to stop sterilizing - its such a pita

I stopped around 6 months... can't remember exactly but it was sometime around then... I kind of started doing it less and less till one day I wasn't doing it at all

I sterlized until she went to the bigger bottles (but srterilized those the first time I used them)
Now I just wash in scalding hot water
