All babies are different BUT for me, I stopped using Dr. Browns/or any other baby bottle, when my kids started using sippy cups.

I didn't think DD needed them at around 9-10 months old. I tried to transition to Avent bottles since I was sick of cleaning all of the parts of the dr. brown's. She finally got used to the Avent ones just before she stopped using bottles altogether. I'm not sure it was worth it.

Same here since cleaning them wasn't an issue(dishwasher) I just kept them instead of purchasing something different.
