when did you introduce whole milk?
like in the bottle? are dr's now recommending before 12 months?

when did you introduce whole milk?
I introduced it at 12 months 10 days. I had no choice DS weaned himself from BF over night.

when did you introduce whole milk?
I started mixing formula and milk at 11.5 months. I also switched to straw cups about the same time. First with mid day, then morning then night last (they were only getting 3 bottles a day. They had been drinking water from straw cups since 6 months or so.

I introduced at 12 months or just shy, never put it in a bottle, only gave him soppy cups (we are already transitioning). We did it over the course of a week and by 12 & 1/2 months we were formula and bottle free.

Love the straw cups. We were using regular sippy cups up to then, love the straw ones.

We started to do a slow transition right before she turned one...1 oz milk to 7 oz formula for a few days, 2 oz milk to 6 oz formula etc.
By the time she was a 13 months she was fully on whole milk

The day he turned 1, I tossed the bottles and put whole milk in a sippy cup.

My girls will be 11 months on Tuesday and I plan on slowly mixing in whole milk with their formula. I went cold turkey with my oldest DS and it was so difficult. He would cry and scream and through the bottle on the floor. With my younger DS we did a gradual transition so he could get used to the taste of the milk and it went much better, so we plan on doing the same with the girls.

Not until 14 months, she wasn't eating a complete enough diet of table foods until then.

I did it after he turned 1. I haven't heard drs recommending milk before 1 either.

My DD - a few days shy of one year
My DS - at 10 months he went over to milk AND dropped the bottle at the same time. He was never a big bottle baby and didn't care much for formula either.
ETA - I didn't transition them either, just finished the formula and went right over to all milk. They both did fine.
