No, I think the real answer is when I got married and someone else was relying on me emotionally. That was a big change for me.

I thought it was when DD was born.
But when DH had his accident (June 05)that's when I realized what it was like to be grown up.

during my first marriage...
november 30, 1994. i would say it was about 11:30pm when i realized i had to end my marriage because being hit while pregnant was not the life i wanted to live.

i still don't feel "grown up"... lol BUT i think when my dad was diagnosed with cancer 6 years ago, thats when i realized that life wasn't all fun and games.... that there are situations you have to be prepared and mature enough to handle...

The first time I thought, gees "I'm a grown up" was when my mother was in the hospital with heart problems and told my sister & I not to tell her brothers or anyone until she was home. We had this "It's all on us feeling."
