When we made a conscious desicion to stop talking about saving for a house and actually start to save for a house... that was 2 weeks ago

I still dont "feel" like a grown-up most days. Its really weird.
I think I had to take over a lot of responsibility when my brother was born. I am 12 years older than him. But it was never forced upon me and I was allowed to be a child still.
Then when my stepdad passed away, I thought I had become a full fledged grown up..and in a way I did.
Not until my dd was born last August, did I for the first time in my life, truly FEEL grown up. Although as I said..sometimes I have to remind myself that I am 31, married and raising a child of my OWN.

I feel like I constantly am feeling like i hit that milestone
-ooh I am a college graduate, Now I am a grown up
-ooh I am moving to FL on my own, Now I am a grown up
-ooh I am moving in with a man, Now I am a grown up
-ooh I am getting married, Now I am a grown up
-ooh, I am pregnant, Now I am a grown up
-ooh I had a son, Now I am a grown up
-got diagnosed, Now I am a grown up
and so on and so forth

Somewhere in between 19 (when my DD was born & 35 (when Former fiance passed away after being ill and I took care of him for a long time at home)

When DH and I moved in together (2 yrs ago). I moved out of my moms house and definitely felt like I grew up a lot by living with him!
