Doctor said 2 weeks but I drove once after 1 week to get the car inspected.

I just got permission from my Dr. last night while he and DH were chating on Facebook- yes, you heard right. Facebook!
But probably won't drive myself anywhere until next week when DH goes back to work.

My doc told me when I can press on the break without discomfort or pain I can start driving. For me, this was almost immediately after my C

I waited 4 weeks, but I was lucky because DH was off from work that entire time.
My dr told me it was because they have to cut through muscles and they need time to heal. If they aren't healed properly, your reaction time could be slower.

i was just wondering if i could drive to my 2 week pp appt. b/c dh will have both boys. i think if i'm feeling fine i will.

I didn't take any chances and the thought of being in a accident and having my incision opening up made me wait, I waited till 6 weeks, my Dr really wanted me to wait till 8, but I couldn't.....
