I wasn't allowed to drive for 2 week, but I don't think I drove until my 6 week pp appointment.

I waited until I had my 6 week checkup, but my DH was home for 5 weeks, so I didn't really have to drive anywhere until the 6 week appt.

I probably didnt drive myself for 2 weeks but that was because DH was home with me for 2 weeks and it was the holidays so I had no where to go by myself.
My Dr told me I was fine to drive after 1 week.

I asked my OB about that when I had DD - he said it is b.c you are more likely to get into an accident - that you shouldn't drive until you can comfortably and not in any pain be able to fully twist at the waist b.c in case you have to make a sudden move you want to able to do so.

My obgyn did not give me clearance until my 3 week dr appt... it was torture

I probably couldve drove before that, but, I was more nervous of driving with DS in the car then of the c section itself.

I drove the day I came home. I needed to run up to the market so I left Rob with the baby and went out. I remember because my sister almost killed my husband for letting me go.
I drove Noah to his Ped appt. 3 days or so after I was released from the hospital.
