When a number you don't recognize
comes up on your caller ID -- do you answer it?
Someone has been calling me all night and I don't know the number. I'm not picking it up unless they leave me a message and tell me who it is.

If the ringing was driving me nuts, I would answer it.
My other trick if I don't want to hear the ring is to pick up and hang up, but that is for #s I recognize and don't want calling me and have been told to stop.

i do only because the one time we did not answer it was a family member calling from a hospital and did not want to leave bad new on the answering machine, so they kept calling till we answered, they where calling from a hospital, i hope that is not your case but sence then i always answer the phone

So far they've called 3 times about an hour apart each time. If they call again I'll answer it but IMO if you've called me 3 times you should leave me a message.
