This is a GREAT post- We are always looking for the BEST pizza . . . .
My favorite Sicilian is from Via Roma in Merrick . . .
Otherwise, I love pizza from La Piazza in Merrick.
I am not a huge Suffolk County pizzeria fan, although Carnival, La Casa, and Colosseo are pretty good- just IMO not the BEST.
When it comes to Pizza and Bagels, I miss Queens . . . .

My sister said that Food Network did a search for the best pizzeria on LI and Joannes Gourmet Pizza in Roslyn was voted #1.
Ive been there a couple of times- they have really cool stuff there like shrimp scampi on a slice.

Totally agree! I grew up in NHP now live in Huntington and the others do not compare. Everytime I go to visit mom that is a must have but has to be sicilian!!

All-time favorite (all in CT) would be Roseland's in Derby (or Sally or Pepe's in New Haven).
Around here I like the place on Division Ave in Levittown, can't remember the name.

This place brings back memories, I grew up in this neighborhood and havent lived there since i went to college. I used to eat here all the time with my mom and LOVED it!!
