I am also going to see Ed Sheeran in October we got floor seats I have never sat floor seats anywhere so I am pretty excited for that
I would love to see Ed Sheeran where are you seeing him?
he is going to the barclay center for 3 days in October but I am thinking they are all sold out. I missed the first 2 dates then he added a 3rd date and I was "lucky" enough to remember this time to log on the moment they went on sale and get tickets.
Yesss! I have tickets to two of those shows, so excited! He also has a show in Buffalo as well as CT.

Re: What was your favorite concert experience?
2004, Blink 182 at Jones Beach: Our seats were just okay, but it was a great time with a group of friends.
2005, Backstreet Boys somewhere in PA: It was a super small venue, and we were first row. We were so close that sweat flew off Nick Carter and hit me in the face. I was in heaven.
2005ish, Dashboard Confessional at a college in CT: Again, it was a pretty small venue, and we were first row.
1990, Peter, Paul and Mary at Westbury Music Fair: I was only four. I remember singing along to all of the songs with my parents, and I went up on the stage to give Mary flowers.

Re: What was your favorite concert experience?
I can't pick one.
The best atmosphere was at the Jesus and Mary Chain when they played the Academy in NYC in 1994. Mazzy Star opened.
Nirvana with the Breeders opening in 1993. The sound was awful, but it's memorable because he died shortly after that.
Kraftwerk 3D show in Düsseldorf (their hometown) at the Kunstsammlung NRW in 2013. It was the Trans Europa Express show.
New Order at Ancienne Belgique in Brussels in 2011.

Re: What was your favorite concert experience?
Ive had SO many. None come close to Woodstock 99 though. Greatest time ever, so much of it sucked, the heat, the filth, the $7 bottles of water, running out of water, but the music made it all worth it.....until they set the damn place on fire.

Oh god it was awful but I was 17 and thought it was effing awesome. HAHAHAHA Now at twice that age I don't think I could do it again.
It was a lot of fun. Pre cell phone days for most people. Throwback!

Re: What was your favorite concert experience?
I have another one.. Hinder at some dive bar in CT. I LOVE the former lead singer and it was right before he left the band. My friend and I drove to Hartford to some random dive bar that was so small, the stage didn't even fit the entire drum kit. We were right in front. AMAZING!

Re: What was your favorite concert experience?
I have a few memorable ones:
Rob Thomas with One Republic and Carolina Liar @ Beacon Theater. We got engaged outside after the concert
1st Row at a Matchbox20 concert, one of my favorites and the concert was great
4th Row @MSG to see Dave Matthews Band w/ a meet & greet for free... can't beat that
Hanson @ The China Club: getting to watch from the sound stage, my favorite plus awesome memorable experience.
Counting Crows and Matchbox20 @ Jones Beach
Hanson at the Hammerstein Ballroom when they were filming Live @ The 10 Spot for MTV (first concert by myself)
Nsync @ Jones Beach... not for the music with them, but they had such a show, with helicopters flying around and stunts.. it was the most theatrical concert I had ever seen.
Gosh... I can keep going but I'll stop. I love music and have so many great concert memories.

What was your favorite concert experience?
Billy Joel this past October at the Garden. It was my first time seeing him in concert.
Matchbox 20 at the beach with my mom right before I left for college. It was a great show, the weather was beautiful, and it was a nice bonding moment.
Rush at PNC Bank Arts Center in NJ. I'm not a fan, but DH is, and we were five rows from the stage. They played a great show. Also, shortest line for the women's room at a concert ever.

Re: What was your favorite concert experience?
This will be very cheesy to most people, but for my 40th two years ago....I did a meet and greet with my favorite all time band and stood in front of the first row for the whole concert.....Def Leppard
I have loved them (and Joe) since I was 13....and my first concert was the same band on my 13th birthday.
It was so much fun. Looking back, I can't decide if I was bada* or just crazy - because I had a baby four weeks before I went that night!
Other awesome concerts I will always remember:
Adele at the Beacon - Spring of 2011 - before she was really "ADELE" - just simply amazing. I think Rolling in the Deep had just been released. The Civil Wars opened for her, and I fell in love with them too.
Foo Fighters - every single time I see them. I saw them 2 years ago at CitiField with Dave in his throne, pretty memorable. I loved seeing them at Nassau Coliseum years before because it was a smaller venue. There was a catwalk from the stage to a much smaller stage where they did a more acoustic set, which was awesome.
Tori Amos - my favorite singer ever - I have lost track of how many times I have seen her. I saw her once upstate at the Mid Hudson Civic Center. She sang "Northern Lad" as I was going through a bad breakup with an older guy...and it crushed me.

Re: What was your favorite concert experience?
My favorites have been with artists from my country. To one of them, DH surprised me with a trip to Orlando to see him. I went by myself to the concert though, because DH stayed with DS. I went early, was one of the first ones there. It was general admission and I was in front row. It was such a great night. I made friends there and it was just awesome... besides the trip
The second one, same artist, it was here and I was the first in line lol. It was also great. He came down to greet fans in the first row and took my iPhone to make a selfie with me.
The third one was a little over a month ago. Also from my country, Carlos Vives. I took DH and DS with me. We were seated, fist row after VIP. It was awesome because it was my DS's first concert. At the end, he handed out 3 soccer balls and DS got one

Not sure what year it was, but I went to a Bush concert and was in awe. I had (still do) the BIGGEST crush on Gavin Rossdale, so being in the same area as him just made my life.

Re: What was your favorite concert experience?
I havent gone to many. Pearl Jam when I was in college was my first rock concert with DH..we were dating at the time.
I've seen Peter Gabriel a few times who I adore.
But I just saw Bastille @ Barclays in march, and I gotta say, they blew me away. I took my dad and we've seen peter gabriel together too and even was like "this is a F**king awesome show."
I am really looking forward to seeing OneREpublic this summer. I am taking my 7 yr old b/c we both love Ryan Tedder. We have seats in the PIT ..should be an experience for sure.
oh..and last summer I did the VIP meet and greet on the MY2K TOUR with 98 degrees. I F**King love them. They were my boy band. I met them when they first started touring b/c DH won tickets from z100 in 1997..lol. I love Drew Lachey. I have a pic and im sandwhiched in between Nick and Drew

What was your favorite concert experience?
I've been to a lot so it's hard to pick...
We saw Sheryl Crow at Lincoln Center - I thought that was really neat.
I've also seen Kenny Chesney a few times at Mohegan Sun - I love seeing concerts there, it's just so easy and the arena is small.

Our lady Peace. 2009 Burn burn had just come out. Amazing show. Amazing audience. The band was having a great time on stage. It was at a small place in NYC. The next day I found out I was pregnant. Great freaking show.

What was your favorite concert experience?
Bruce Springsteen at the Meadowlands in 2003 - he did like 10 shows and somehow I managed to go to 5 of them, but one of them it started pouring in the middle of the show and everyone just embraced it and the vibe was incredible.

Billy Joel @ Mohegan Sun. My sister got me tickets for my B-day, just me and her. When we went in we were upgraded to front row!!
NKOTB at Jones Beach was my very first concert. We are talking 1990, I still remember rocking out in my ripped jeans :)

What was your favorite concert experience?
Ive been to a lot of concerts so this is hard... but the most memorable was Counting Crows up close and personal at the China Club -- won tix through 95.5 PLJ. Billy Joel last play at Shea was pretty awesome -- but I also saw him previously w/ Elton John at MSG and the two of them together were great. Another good one was Natalie Merchant in a small section of central park. I think it was 150 people max. I also remember my first Dave Matthews show vividly -- i called and called trying to get tix and the show sold out, BUT they opened a new show the minute ticketmaster answered my call so I was in the 4th row at Giants Stadium. Pretty cool.
I have some great memories of shows i went to before the bands got big -- small venue performances by Foo Fighters, The Offspring, Mumford and Sons, Edward Sharpe...etc. So much fun when it isnt a huge arena.

What was your favorite concert experience?
My first Depeche Mode concert at Jones Beach. I am a HUGE fan and it was just awesome.
Second would be Billy Joe and Elton John playing together. They were amazing. Billy Joel was doing backflips off the piano and Elton was signing Piano Man.
Third, would be seeing Living Color while I was going to college at UConn. On the football field and just a crazy amazing time.

Re: What was your favorite concert experience?
I have been to hundreds, if not thousands.. its really hard to pick
some that stand out to me:
Monsters of Rock - Metallica/Dokken/Van Halen in 1988 (yea yeah, i'm old) - was the first time at a general admission arena concert and i was smoooshed the entire time. i LOVED It.
I prefer smaller venues/shows to larger arenas and really only go when its general admission. I don't do seats
Beastie Boys at an amusement park in RI in the early 90's - my friends and i drove down from Boston and snuck in the back and watched from the side of the stage.
Danzig in 92 - we drove thru a snowstorm to Worcester (from Boston) and there were only about 25 people there because of the storm. Amazing.
Any show where i saw Fear Factory or Type O Negative because they're my all time favorite bands.
Lollapalooza 1992, Boston at Great Woods. We were part of the crowd on the back lawn, we tore the lawn and fences up and built bonfires and danced around it. The venue was not happy, but we were like animalistic heathens
Lollapalooza 96 (i think?) at Randalls Island when Metallica and The Ramones played. I was up against the front rail for the entire Metallica concert. I had a giant bruise on my chest and couldn't breath, but it was worth every second.
I've been on stage at CBGB's with Dropkick Murphys singing 'kiss me i'm shiitfaced' with the band
I think i've seen most bands that i like many times, so its hard to remember just one or two
I lose myself in the music when i go to shows.. so i'd say 80% of them have been awesome for me. The band has to really suck (and some have) for me to have a bad time.
oh, and in tribute to Chris Cornell's untimely passing last week, I saw Soundgarden a lot in the 90's and one particular show they played in Boston, he jumped into the crowd and i reached right up and grabbed that gorgeous ass of his as he passed over me.
I could go on and on.. i keep remembering more and more
