What was your favorite
game to play in gym (elementary)?
I was just called to sub in PE tomorrow and I'm not sure if he left any plans (or things to play). If he didn't I am clueless....H E L P

Can I play kickball in the gym? I believe we used to....what would be a HR etc...somewhere on the wall?
Also if it's a class of say 20 isn't 10 pp on a team too many (defensively really) how can I break it up

We don't have a gym teacher in my school so I bring them and make up games to play with them.
They really LOVE freeze relay races. It's like a regular relay race except that I bring the boom box with me and while they are racing if the music turns off they have to freeze. If they don't freeze they have to go back to thier start line and it slows thier team down. Also you have to stay super quiet when your teammates are running so that they can hear the music go on and off, and so we do a "silent cheer" which is when you kind of raise the roof with your hands -- to cheer our teammates on.
I usually play "Rapper's Delight" with them or some other major fun Hip Hop song and they LOVE it.

Oh -- and to answer your question I loved when we did soccer with those scooter things and safety town on the scooters. I guess I really liked the scooters.

Loved safety town.... lol.
This wasn't actually a game bu we would have a parachute and all the kids would hold around the edges and then the gym teacher would let so many kids at a certain time run from one end to the other while the parachute was being lifted. He would also get a ball and put it on the top and you couldn't let the ball land on the floor.
