What Was Your DH's reaction to the BFP?
Mine went:
"Are you sh*tting me?" It was priceless 'cus this will be our first and we weren't really planning it.

"okay" 
we were trying but he was half asleep - i dragged him out of bed at 6:30am to see the test
i said, "that's it" and he said "i love you"
it didn't really sink in for him until we had our first ultrasound at 8 weeks. since then he's been over the moon.

I just walked up behind DH, tapped him on the shoulder, and when he turned around I put the test in front of his face. He got a big smile and said,"Really?" It was cute!

he didn't believe it at first, he's like can't it be a false positive, when I took about 8 other tests it started to sink in and he was happy, when the doc called with the numbers doubling he believed it even more and kissed me and the we started arguing about names....

it totally took weeks for it to sink in for both of us....
so we looked at the BFP and he said 'I know...' (becuase my body was super-wierd in the two week wait period... but it was surreal until we really went to the ultrascreen and saw the little limbs kicking around in there....
now we're both really happy

He turned white as a ghost and almost had the look that he was going to pass out, he actually thought because the line was faint that meant it was negative  but after convincing him that a line is a line meant we were pg he was literally jumping for joy, it was so cute!
I guess his initial reaction was based off of the shocking unexpected news but he was and still is thrilled!

I told him I had to show him something and he said what? I said I have to show you something.. he said is it two lines I said yes.. and he started to cry and kiss me.. it was so sweet.

I woke up to go to the bathroom, and he was half awake, but knew that I was going to be testing. I took the test, got my BFP, then went back to bed, and put the test on my belly. He didn't say a word-he thought it was negative.
I said, can you cuddle with me, so he reached over, and put his hand on my belly, and then felt the test. He picked it up, looked at it and said, "it's negative?" I said, "no." He immediately turned on the light and looked at it, but it wasn't registering...I had to say, "I'm pregnant." for him to understand...lol Then he kissed me and kissed my belly.

"take another test to be sure".. he wanted to spend our whole life savings on pg tests to make sure it was real.. even when I was done testing (at like 7 weeks) he kept making me pee on a stick.

He didnt believe it...he said "go to the Dr. i dont want you to get your hopes up"..being that it was positive 5 days before AF. But after the Dr. results he was estatic telling everyone in sight... he cant keep his mouth shut still..being i am only 6.5 weeks and wanted to keep it quiet for a little but. After the heartbeat DH has more of a pregnancy glow then i do!!!!!!!!

We were both shocked to say the least. I had heavy, heavy spontaneous bleeding a few days earlier and didn't even think I was pregnant. My BF of 5 years asked if I may have been pregnant and not known and miscarried. I said I didn't think so being I had a light period a few weeks earlier (DUH!!! IMPLANTATION BLEEDING). So off to the doctor I went expecting to hear that I lost a baby I didn't even know I was carrying. Low and behold, they did a sonogram and there was a 9 week old peanut and a beating heart. I took the sonogram picture and went home and told my BF that they thought I was pregnant, and did an ultrasound to find out, and the found THIS - and I handed him the picture. He was surprised, and shocked. We went out to dinner and he did 2 shots and had 3 beers. After that he was better and asked me "So... what are we going to name this little guy?" Meet the .001% that CAN get pregnant while on BCP.

Well, after he said "you're pregnant!" the night we conceived, he already knew it when I took the test, and just nodded when the test confirmed it a few weeks later.

He didnt/couldnt beleive it. I knew how almost impossible it was to get a false positive so I started calling everyone and it took him forever to call his side bc he couldnt believe it. It was really cute.

wow and i cant believe you were on the pill! Did you take it like you were supposed to or did you skip and mess up all the time.

I took the darn thing every day, at the same freaking time, for 10 years. I guess G-d decided that we were ready to become parents- even though my BF and I were not. But now, looking at our 7 week  , we cannot imagine life without him!!!

this was a huge surprise for the both of us!
we haven't been very careful and i went off the pill just to get off of it but i didnt want to ttc for another year.
anyhow, we were pretty careless and he always joked that we were pregnant. i didn't think we were pregnant at all!!
i even took a test and it came up negative! I ended up taking a 2nd test about a week later just to prove him wrong again b/c he was like " you know we are having a baby!" and i didnt think it was happening.
well i took the test and let a big "omg"
he thought i was joking and we both stared at the test and stared at eachother.
then he got excited, i got REALLY SCARED and nervous! now, we are both THRILLED!

He was sleeping it was 3 am when I took test #1 then i went back out to get another and woke him up again he was very happy but too sleepy at the same time

I wasn't going to tell DH when I did because I wasn't supposed to test until after AF was late, but of course I didn't listen! I never expected the test to come up positive and didn't know what to do!!!!
The same day I got the BFP, we were putting an offer in on our first house and we were both super nervous. The day before we had been talking about how I had been feeling weird and maybe I'm pregnant, blah blah, and were starting to debate about whether or not we should still offer on the house if a baby is coming soon. I didn't think much more of it (again I didn't think it was positive!) and sure enough the next day after I took the test (but before I told DH) he brought it up again about maybe not offering on the house. So right before we left to make the offer I broke down and told him. He was SHOCKED and I thought he was going to keel over. We didn't get the house (we DID offer but it fell through) but if you ask me we got something way better!
