EPT- can't make up it's mind, BFP or BFN- update
Did any of you get a BFP and the next day it said BFN? and were actually pregnant?
Last night I got a BFP (i'm not TTC, but my gutt told me go take one, dont know why) but the positive line was a lil faint and this AM i looked at it and it was very dark BFP, and this am i take another and its a BFN, what am I???

Ihear you can never get a false positive only a false negative so I say your are pregnant. congrats!

Not true. I have gotten a false positive before and so have many others.
What brand test was this?
ETA- just realized you wrote EPT. I've gotten false positives on First Response

I'm so confused! DH doesnt believe we are... i'm not even due to get AF anytime soon...does this make it even weirder?

Did you take this morning's test with FMU? If not, that could give you a false negative. I hope this turns out the way you would like it to!

First Morning Urine? if so yes i did, that gave me the BFN

whats an FMU?
First Morning Urine? if so yes i did, that gave me the BFN
Tests can have different amounts of dye in them which is one reason you may get a lighter line on one compared to another.
Try testing again either with FMU tomorrow, or later today after you've held your pee for at least 3-4 hours.
Try using a test that detects lower levels of hcg, like FRER or AE. GOOD LUCK to you!!

I used the First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test. This test was great! I took it twice and got two BFP's, one a night and one the next mornig.

agreed.
i got "false positives" using clear blue easy regular and digital.
i got 3 positives one week, tested a week later and got 2 BFN. i believe i had what they call a "chemical pregnancy", and got AF the day after my BFN's.

I would use a digital test tomorrow morning. If it's positive, I would go see your DR. Monday morning for a blood test.

by the way, when I took my test, I had a very faint line and a very dark line for the +.

Digital tests need much higher levels of hcg in your urine than a regular test.
FRER and AE tests are the most sensitive. I would save your digital for another few days...and pick up a FRER for the morning. Digitals are more expensive too...

I had a false positive with the clear blue easy digital, after that test I only had negatives!!!
