HS- The Golden Eagles
College-The Rams & it was WAY over used, The Ramvan, Ramnet ( the phone system),etc
The Womans Basektball team was called the Lady Rams  I guess someone didn't think that through all the way. . .
The Frisbee team was called the Flying Jesuits--

My HS had so many team names, there was NO uniformity
football was peglegs
baseball was hitmen
basketball was the phoenix
ultimate was sticky fingers
fencing was untouchables
women's soccer was the mimbas.

I had no idea Hofstra changed!!! I used to work at the bookstore there and hear 10,000 people say how stupid "DUTCH" was.
But it was unique!!
I was a Bucaneer in HS (I even got to be the Mascot a couple of times!!
and a proud Nittany Lion for College
And a Dutch for grad school!!
