8 and 11 yo. They stay up until 12:30 or so. They are both still up, and we're working on getting them to go to bed. No school tomorrow, so no problem if they sleep in late.

It did not occur to me to let them stay up. My kids are asleep already.
This was us too. My kids are in bed by 8 pm. I'm honestly surprised so many people are so flexible with their kids' sleep. We find sticking to a bed time (especially with our 2 year old) works best for our DC and us.

What time does your DC stay up until on NYE?
Our 21 month old slept through but we ended up waking up my 3.5 yr old at 11:45 so he could watch the ball drop. I am so happy we did, he LOVED it!! And he was back in bed out cold by 12:15, woke up at 8 this morning in a great mood. We had friends over last night and they all thought it was so cute how into the ball drop he was lol. Happy New Year everyone!!

My almost 3 year old stayed up until 1 dancing and playing at a friend's party. There were a lot of other kids and they all stayed up. It is now a little after 11 and she is still sleeping and so is DH! Happy New Year to me!

We celebrate NYE as a family and always have and my kids have the best time ever! We went to two parties and got home 1:30! My kids are 4 and 7. There were kids at the parties that ranged from 2-10 and they all stayed up and celebrated. No school for a few more days!

as long as they can make it, its a holiday thats meant for late entertainment... 5 yo fell asleep before 11, 2 yo lasted til almost 12, and woke up for the ball drop.

My parents convinced me to let her stay up until she dropped.
She was up until 1:40am!
And she doesn't even nap, don't know how she did it.
