I have just two regrets:

1. I would have stood up to my father at 18 (much too long a story, but he's Sicilian, need I say more?)

2. Finishing college and joining the NYPD

However, I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children I adore with all my heart and I wouldn't change that for anything in the world.

partying too much in college, then screwing up , then having to come home and finish my degree 10 years after I graduated HS!

another one....fighting with someone online that I didnt even know!!

I slapped someone once and have never forgiven myself for it.
I wish, many times, that I could go back and never do that.

1- Not being smarter with credit cards when I was younger

2- Not going to Greece when I had the chance

Not asking my parents more about themselves before they died. I thought I would have had so many more years, but as I planned my wedding, there were so many things I would have liked to ask my mom about marriage and motherhood. I would have liked to know more stories of their courtship and from when they were young.

And of course, asking more about family medical history......

My short list:
I regret hurting ex boyfriends.
I regret not going to class more in college. I was never a B student until I stopped going.

Not having the guts to go away to the University of Arizona.

Not spending as much time as I could with my Papa in his later years

Not being fluent in Hebrew so I could really communicate with my grandma in Israel

not spending more time with my mom during her last few weeks before she died. We got into a fight and I was angry

Letting a b-tchy professor talk me out of finishing grad school because she thought my articles I wrote were "too colloquial".
I had a full scholarship and was one semester shy of graduating. She berated me everyday for a year and told me that I would never be a good musician or musicologist and that no one would want to read my articles, and that I should just go with what all the other drop-outs do and become a school music teacher.
Needless to say, the next semester, they fired her. But I had already moved away and gotten a job doing exactly what she said I should...TEACHING.
So on the one hand, it's my biggest regret, but on the other hand, I never would have become a teacher if I didn't let her get to me, and I love my job now.

Nothing too major...just some incidents when I could have had more patience with people or treated them better.

i am pretty good at not letting the past bother me...so i am trying to think about what i regret..

right now i have my house on my mind...

i regret getting a 5 year fixed mortgage...i should have gone for the 30 year fixed....but i was too stubborn to listen to people...

i also regret not buying the condo i had bid on a couple years ago - i didnt bid hard enough and i ended up dropping out of the deal over something trivial...i should have more aggressivly bid on it- it was a great deal and the interest rates were soooo low at the time

i also regret not paying attention enough in my college- id be alot more knowledgible in my career if i had really given it my all

Not putting more effort into my education and coming to terms with a career path earlier on.

Wasting soo many years letting others get under my skin. I let the inlaws have the power in my life for so long and wasted so much of my energy fighting a useless battle. I should have let it all go.

Waiting for others to come around to my way of thinking...should have moved on while I had the chance.

Not taking the necessary steps to fix my health issues a long time ago..always believing in the idea of tomorrow when I should have started TODAY. We're changing that!

And like Lisa, disliking people that I didn't even know...getting caught up in internet BS. I'm very glad that there are more than a few that I have come to terms with/made some sort of peace with (yet there are still those few who want to carry on like giant babies and perpetuate the drama - to those I say "Whatever floats your boat, but I refuse to waste another second of my life paying attention to your childish antics.")

I regret being talked into going to college when I wasnt ready. Had I taken the time to really think things through, I wouldnt have had to switch majors that would eventually lead me to drop out.

AND

I regret not speaking up when it came to planning my bachelorette party. Because I worried about everyone else's preferences, I completey ignored my own.

The college i chose to go to and not really looking at other colleges because i was set on that one. Also, majoring in political science.....that has gotten me far in life!

I tend to live my life to the fullest with a positive attitude every day and having no regrets. I usually do not take anything for granted. When I think that I *might* regret something, I think about it again and I know there must have been a good reason for it......
I'd say I have none......

1. Not standing up to my mother and finding out who my "real" father is.....( I still don't know, and my dad died a few years ago, and i am afraid to ask her)

2. Not trying to have children earlier and now, I am battling infertility.

Paying for my Masters then accepting a job that pays for school
