majoring in communications
not letting petty things bother me while in college (friend things, boyfriend things)
eating so much and gaining so much weight in college
WOW thats a heavy 4 years huh......
ETA: going away to college was also the best decision I ever made.....

Not going to college
I wanted to take acting when i was younger and never did also i wanted to take up spanish when i was in high school I only know a few words now but if I did I would have known alot more.
giving up my virginity to my ex boyfriend before Dh because he was the biggest loser i have ever dated I gues at the time i wanted too but now i totally regret it!

I wish I had gone away to college, my friends have all had a much fuller experience. I wish I had studied abroad. I wish I could have gotten better grades despite all of the problems I'd had. But none of it is really a regret because changing any of that would change the experiences I HAVE had, and I am so grateful for them, and after so many years of really hating Hofstra, I realize I found a home and a family there, and there's no way I would give that up, even to have gone to a higher ranked school or something.
And the grades...my GPA is actually pretty good. Could I have gotten a 4.0? Probably..but you can't predict what will happen to you.

It's a double-edged sword for me...
I regret that I didn't finish college and that I ever got together with my Ex, however if those things were changed I never would have had my son, and he is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Letting a b-tchy professor talk me out of finishing grad school because she thought my articles I wrote were "too colloquial".
I had a full scholarship and was one semester shy of graduating. She berated me everyday for a year and told me that I would never be a good musician or musicologist and that no one would want to read my articles, and that I should just go with what all the other drop-outs do and become a school music teacher.
Needless to say, the next semester, they fired her. But I had already moved away and gotten a job doing exactly what she said I should...TEACHING.
So on the one hand, it's my biggest regret, but on the other hand, I never would have become a teacher if I didn't let her get to me, and I love my job now.
