We have a dutailier upholstered glider series 172 and love it. We use it every day and DS is almost 2 years old. I can see us using the chair for a long long time. http://www.dutailier.com
click on nursery, page 2, upholstered gliders and it is the second picture on the top, #172.

We registered for (IL's purchased) us the Best Chair Recliner from BBB. It was the most comfortable chair we found. We wanted something that we could eventually move into our living space once we are done with kids. We wanted an ottoman, but didn't want the extra space taken up, so we opted for the swivel recliner. This way you can still put your feet up & the chair reclines to a full sleeping position (in case baby gives us a bad night)
We went with a coffee color & did the piping the same color as the chair

i registered for a dutalier one at Buy buy baby. its a lower priced model..i think about $300 and $150 for the ottoman. i dont have it yet, but it sure was comfy in the store.

I have a Best Chair, similar to the one above but it doesn't recline (didn't need that option). I LOVE LOVE LOVE that chair! It is so ultra comfy and we use it all the time. It is also roomy, so I could fit the boppy in it when she was little and we aren't squished now that she is getting bigger.
