I would say 1.5-3 years. I'm very close with my siblings and we're close in age.

18 months!!! like my sister and I, we are BFF's. my DS and his soon to be little brother will be 20 months apart. the closer the better

between DC#1 and DC#2: 1-2 years.

between DC# and DC#3: 2-3 years!

My two are just under 2 years apart (3 weeks actually). We had planned on a 3 year age difference but God had other plans. Now that Luke is here, I am so happy they are 2 years apart.

2.5- 3yrs, we hit perfectly...DS was 2 years and 8 months when DD was born

My sister and I are 18 months apart and are very close, while my brother and I are 10 years apart and are not close at all. I think we are planning on trying for DC#2 when DD is about 2. I depend on my mom alot for help with DD bc I work FT, and my sister is PG with twins, so I think i should give her a break before our next DC comes!

DS2 was conceived right around DS1's 1st b-day. I love their ages!

I always wanted to have kids 2.5-3 years apart. I'm not sure if that will actually happen though. I'm definitely not ready to TTC anytime soon.

Only because that's how far my brother and I are. Actually he's 3yrs and 11months older. We were typical big brother little sister early on but when we got to be around 7-11 we were super close. By High School I was kinda his lil buddy. Stayed close ever since.

My sister and I were 2 under 2 (13 months) and have always been ridiculously close.

My DDs were also 2 under 2 (17 months) and I absolutley LOVE having them so close. I liked that we got to experience everything close together. Having 2 in diapers really wasn't such an issue. And they are so flipping CUTE together when they play that my heart melts all the time. So much so that we had wanted to have 3 under 3.

Third baby will be born about 1 month after DD#1's 3rd birthday.

It's a crazy, busy life, but we wouldn't change it for the world.....

2.5 years... but that's really all I know since my sister and I are 2.5 years apart. We're very close! I think we are going to have to wait longer than that for our 2nd though.

let's see DS is 17 months now...I say 27 or 28 months apart...

I think it is not the age difference but the personalities and family that make a sibling "close". I know people who are 12 months younger than their siblings and they are not friends at all. I know people who are 10 years older than their sibling and they are best friends. It really depends on the people.
Some parents do really well with children all in diapers at the same time. others do better with only one infant at a time.
It is a very personal choice I think.

we have 4.5 yrs and I find that its really good. I have the best of both worlds right now with my 5 month old and almost 5 yr old.

I would say 2 years. For our children it will 3.5 years apart...not that bad.

Mine are 20 months apart - i love that they will be one year apart in school!

Realistically, who knows

I will say this - my stepdaughters are 6 years apart and for them, it was perfect! They never really fought, they had a great relationship, and now at ages 13 and 19 they are best friends.

My thought is this: Like everything else in life, whatever you make of it, it will either be perfect or a disaster.

There is a 6 year difference between my sister and I, and a 9 year difference between my brother and I. The three of us are VERY close!
