I have been giving DD cereal with her formula. I'm sure a lot of people will say it's too early, but given the fact that she didn't seem satisfied and was crying/not sleeping, I decided to go ahead with it..and it's been working.

I think it's fine as long as your ped says it is...if so, don't worry about what others say.
I was told at 1 month to put cereal in DS's bottles because he was drinking TOO much formula.

That's the thing...he said to give her cereal at 4 months, and I'm sorry but I refuse to wait that long. I didn't with my son, and I won't with my DD. Especially because he's not the one having to wake up with her every hour or 2 hours hearing her cry because she's not satisfied w/just the formula.
She's been on cereal for a week now and so far so good.

DD is 5 weeks and I have been doing the same thing. I mix some formula and cereal in her bottle and she has been sleeping better since. Did the same with DS.

At 4 months we mixed with formula. At 6 months we mixed with yogurt in the morning and fruit at night.

See, I'm paranoid - I don't do it unless my ped says. If you are fine with it then that's all that matters.
You tried upping her formula intake per feeding?
