I get a happy hour once every 3 weeks ish. 2 months I went out with a few girl friends. Sometimes we get to go out. every 2 months or so... but that is about it.

Nothing! It sucks! But I think it's my own fault. I need to take advantage of the little snippets of time I have to go do something for myself instead of "Oh great! DH is home. Let me reorganize my closet (or insert other time consuming chore) while he watches the baby". My hair looks like crap, I'm chubby, pasty white and unhealthy I think and I have Fred Flinstone feet. I need to start doing me!

i get my nails done once a month if im lucky... thats about it!

I get my nails done every 3 weeks or so and a haircut once a month. It's tough just to those things with everyone's schedule. Both DH and I work full time and we have 3 kids. I am on maternity leave now but I have been too tired to really do anything for myself since baby is up all night.

Well I am 38 weeks PG with # 2 so for the past few weeks I haven't felt up to doing anything. After being a SAHM to my 22 month old all day, I am exhausted and go to bed at 8:00 with DS. But up until about a month ago, I would go out to dinner twice a month with girlfriends, date night once a month with DH, I would also meet my BFF once a month and we would get our nails done on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I miss that, I hope to be able to resume this in a few months once I have settled into life with 2 kids.

I'm a SAHM with 2 kids. I don't ever get my hair or nails done, but I will sometimes go grocery shopping alone when DH gets home from work.

I do hang out with friends a lot though - we do breakfast 1-2x a week, go out to the movies, lunch/dinner, or for drinks, and we always take turns hosting "ladies' night in" at our houses.

I am a FTWM and honestly i do what ever i need or want for myself. I try to get my nails done every 2 weeks its usually longer than that but thats just because i am lazy, i leave DD either with my DH or with my parents, and the only reason with my parents is cuase i get my nails done right by thier house so i will go hang out there before and after my nails.

Theres really not much else i like to do but when i do want to do something i make it work. I dont go out much with friends but i never really did before kids but when i do want to DH has no issue with it.

I never go to any store alone with DD refuse to (ok maybe once or twice if i really need too), i give DH options he either can go himself, come with me, or stay home with DD. He 99% of the time chooses to stay home with her.

And of course my parents will watch her if i wanted to run to a store thats by thier house!

I play sports.

Volleyball twice a week, softball once a week.

It helps that it's "set". Like - it's known that I have those things to do. I paid my fee, made a commitment.

It also helps that this normally happens after DD is asleep, for softball - that's a daddy and daughter day.

It works out well.

We have a cleaning lady every two weeks and I do chores while we're watching our shows - folding laundry throughout, picking up during commercials, etc.

I do a lot for myself. DH travels for months at a time sometimes which leaves me home bound in the evenings for the most part so when he is not on travel, do a lot.

Im a FTWM. Im big into photography and network with other local photographers in my area. I take Photography workshops in the evenings or sometimes catch dinner/happy hour with friends and go on photoshoot "playdates" as well as book photo sessions for clients during the weekends. I always seem to be busy. Most of the things I do are usually after DS goes to sleep. I am very thankful for my time. Im sure once I have a DC #2, that will change.

Nothing. It's not really anyone else's fault but my own. I know I can make time and effort into my own appearance, but when it comes down to it. I would rather not spend the money, time, or energy on me. I put myself way down on my list of priorities, and its sad.

My DD is only 9M and I'm a FTWM with a husband who works rotating shifts and no family around. But, even if it were different I wpuld prob still spend all my time w/ DD. I still carry the guilt of working.

BUT, I do get couple time. DH and I like to go out alone and we usually do when DD is down for the night!

The gym, when I can go. I'm on my own pretty much all the time so its really hard for me to go because my 2 year old won't stay in the nursery there.

Today DH stayed home with DD and my mom and I went shopping and to lunch. I came home five pairs of shoes and two margaritas later. It was a very good day.

My DH will often stay with DD while I run to a store or to get a pedi or even to get a bite to eat by myself. Sometimes I just need a break and he'll be first one to tell me to get out.

I work out either before the kids get up (if I can drag myself out of bed...my 5 month old is still up a lot at night) or when they're napping.

Sometimes I will run an errand by myself on the weekends or when my mom is here, and that feels like me time even though it's errands, lol.

I get my nails done once in a blue moon, but lately I take my DD so we can have some mommy and me time away from her little bro.

I am a SAHM and need to get out a few times a week and DH is good about it. I'd say I get out 3x a week - once to see friends, once to run by myself and once for hair/nail/shopping/grocery store or whatever I have on the docket.

We have no help close by but we are doing ok. Had a few date nights when family came to visit but usually we go out to lunch alot with the baby. We call it family dates!

I'm also a ftwm with 2 kids and 1 on the way. I don't do anything "for myself" but I don't miss it or want to right now. Not saying that's right or the norm but the trUth is my kids will not be this little for long and they won't alwaYs want me as much. AfTer wOrk and my commute theRe's not much time left and i chose to spend that time with my kids and dh. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. One day my kids will be older and i will have more time to do"me" things.

I am a SAHM mom now and I workout 4-5x a week. 2 days my mom will watch the baby or I will take him with me to the daycare. I also get my nails done on Fridays and Friday nights I try to do pizza with my friends.

DH and I were talking about this last week. We're going to try to each do something for ourselves once a week and with each other every other week (just because of scheduling with getting my parents to babysit).

Right now it's just little things... DH going for runs, getting our haircut and getting my nails done. My sister and I have a spa day date coming up... and once I go back to work I'm going to join the gym across the street from my office.

As for getting out of the house together when DS was 2 weeks old we went to dinner and a movie for my birthday and then last weekend at 3 weeks we went out to the wineries for my sister's birthday for a few hours. We're going to try and continue that as much as we hate leaving him home.

As nice as it is to get out alone I do look forward to being able to go on outings with DS even if he is too little to know what we're doing!!
