What coat does your Toddler have.
Is a Northface ok for running to the car into the store and back? I'm worried about anything puffier being unsafe in the car. She's only 18 months so the backward thing frustrates her immensely! What did you get?

DS is almost 18 months too, and we also use a north face fleece with a hoodie. I also got him a barn coat from Gap that isn't puffy. I'm not sure what we'll do when it gets really cold in the winter yet. Obviously he needs a heavy jacket, just not sure about what to do in the car.
Last year was much easier. He wore the north face all winter, with a blanket on top of the carrier when it got very cold.

What coat does your Toddler have.
This year we have a thin but warm winter coat for the car. Got it at target. I know Lands End makes one as well and I am being zero help because I can't remember the names.
He had a puffy coat last winter and I would take it off when we got in the car and put it over him like a blanket. Car was most of the time preheated anyway

What coat does your Toddler have.
We have the Childrens Place 3 in 1. We use the fleece for the car and the entire jacket when they are playing outside (they are in daycare and go out 2x a day as long as it's over 35.

What coat does your Toddler have.
At 18 months DD wore the carter's sherpa jacket in the car. It was fine for going to and from the car and the house or a store. This year she has a fleece from CP. For playing outside I've gotten the heavyweight jacket from osh kosh the past two years.

We have had the Gap Warmest Jacket & I love it for really cold days. It keeps my kids really warm. We also have the Children's Place 3 in 1 that I like.

this is what I have been using since she was about 2 the smallest size the make though is 2T but I would have no problem buying my 18 month old a 2t

What coat does your Toddler have.
I usually just put a regular fleece sweatshirt on them to run them from the house to the car and when we get to our destination I quickly put all their puffy coats on.

What coat does your Toddler have.
I have the 3 in 1 from target. I use the thin fleece inside part for the car and put the outer layer on if outside for long periods of time it for school when we get to school. The north face will be fine.

3-in-1 coats always worked the best for my DS. Now that he's in bigger sizes we still go for them.

we have a 3-1 from Target.
We also have a thin jacket from H & M that he wears this time of year til it gets cold. We also will layer the H & M jacket with a zip hoodie or we have a vest he wears with a hoodie.

How is that in the carseat and do you think it will be warm enough for being outside for any extended period of time in the colder weather?
I bought it over the weekend, plus another coat, b/c I am making myself crazy!!!

I got this one the other day. They had 40% off. Good for the car and the material wasn't really slippery. I did order a size up and it's perfect.

I don't think I will use it for long periods of time out in the bitter cold. We actually have a 3 in 1 from last year that still fits her so we will likely use that. Otherwise, I plan on getting a snow pants and jacket set for Christmas...
