Which winter coat did you get your toddler son?
I need to pick up a winter coat for 2.5yo DS this weekend. I can't believe we need winter coats already! I just bought him a fall coat.

I just grabbed a decent London Fog coat with removable hood at Costco. For the same reason...haven't found a coat I really like yet and I know he's going to need one this weekend. $20 something dollars. They had a nice green (I got DS), blue (I thought was too cookie monster bright for my liking) and red. (girl colors too)
I figure if I do find a better one, it's a good back up.

I bought my 2.5 year old boys the northface 500 down coat. It is not too puffy and safe for the carseat. I read a lot about it on line before going and buying them.

Where did you read the reviews?
I just ordered the North Face down coat with a hood. Now I'm thinking the hood may just get in the way. Oh well. I already ordered it.

one piece ski suit, not bulky, easy to move around in, we spent 2 hours this morning in the park, I was freezing he was fine.

Looks like our boys have the same coat again this year Denise! Too funny! I got him the green London Fog coat from Costco last month!

I got a nice fleece lined one at Old Navy recently. It was around $30 I think. Also got snow pants and a hat / gloves too.

Both of my kids have Gap Warmest Jackets. I got them when they had the 35% off coupon. We have snow pants from last year that still fit.

Target has a great 3 in 1. You have the outer liner that's a good lighter jacket, and an inside fleece layer that you can wear on its own, or put them both together for a winter coat.

And use the outside in the spring when they outgrow the inside layer.

Get the flip outta here! That's too funny! I wish Old Navy had that same coat. Better yet, I should have bought every size up they had last year! Loved that coat.

Actually it is lands end! Oops. I just tried to find it on LL bean and I was so confused b/c it wasn't there. 
It is the
squall jacket. It is pretty cool and has sleeve extensions so I am hoping he can wear it next year too. I wanted a thinner jacket so I wouldn't have to worry about the car seat but still have him be warm enough. The hood fits really nicely too and you can adjust it in the back of the head so it hits them at the right spot. It is just made really well. Oh and I got a 2t and he has plenty of room even though he is so big. hth.

I dont remember the exact name but its the puffy jacket from Ralph Lauren. I bought it for my 10 year old when he was 2. I saved it and then my next son wore it too. Great condition, so cute but finally the zipper stopped working.
