never gave any of my kids anything for a cold... if they had a cough the dr would always give us a cough medicine.. otherwise it always ran its course.

If the child is coughing, I would pick up Zarbees. It's all natural honey based, and my ped. recommended it.

Warm mist humidifier with Vicks, saline spray in the nose, and lots of patience. I don't give any meds to DS.

Hylands all natural cold medicine. My ped told me it was ok to give.

Just tylenol if hes warm, humidifier, nose drops, and if really stuffy id sit in steam w DS every nite before bed to help clear him up.
