Ok looking at my my bill for last month it reads,
Cable Television /IO $141.14
OptOnline 44.95
Opt Voice $14.95
On Demand: 69.80
we have all on demand channels, DH orders movies too.
Total: $270.84
The month before was $207.94
now I can see why your bill is that high. we don't have the on demand channels and we never order PPV. ouch!

Outside of the bank drain that is my mortgage payment each month... I cannot stand Cablevision. I have my phone, tv and internet through them and it frustrates me to see how much I pay each month.

I HATE, HATE, HATE our Lipa bill.
My inlaws house that we took over is in BAD shape, so the electric is outdated & the bill is astronomical
We're in the same exact situation (well except that it's our uncle's house!). I almost died last year during the summer when we got a $700 bill

I really hate them all, but I can't stand my mortgage bill (because its the most) and my credit cards. I'm so close to paying off all of our cards (about another 2,500 to go) and my car will paid off in Dec 07, can't wait, finally we'll have a little extra $$$!

Geeze, I have Cable, internet, phone, a DVR box, and HBO for $135 a month through Cablevision.
You might want to look into FiOS. It will probably be cheaper than what you are paying...

verizon fios -- only because the bill is wrong EVERY month and I end up sitting on the phone with them.
ETA: I changed my mind. Paying DH's student loan is much, much worse!!!!!

I agree with thi that FIOS might be the way...........
Here is my breakdown:
$81.80 Fios TV (HBO/Cinamax package & both on demand) 2 regular boxes & 1 DVR box
$29.95 Fios Internet
$47.21 Verizon phone (landline.....we have the Freedom Essentials Package)
With Tax the bill is about $180 each month & that's with inlaws usually ordering 2 movies WE get to pay for
Plus I also consolidated my Verizon Wireless Bill, so I get 1 bill for all which I love!
